I was there in September by the end of the summer holidays and the weather was pleasant and it was less crowded.
In the peak months of July to August, temperatures soar to the mid-40s with minimal rainfall. The shoulder months maintain a comfortable mid-30s range, making Oludeniz an attractive destination year-round.

Great news! Oludeniz is easily accessible, whether you prefer flying, taking a coach, or driving. The choice is yours, and reaching this beautiful destination is a breeze.
For international travel, catch a direct flight to Dalaman Airport on Turkey’s South coast. Keep in mind, during winter, finding flights might be trickier, but connecting through Istanbul is always an option.
If you’re a budget-friendly solo traveler, my suggestion is to opt for a coach to Fethiye, the main town. From the Fethiye bus station, hop on a small bus, almost like a van, to reach Oludeniz. Payment is typically in cash. This affordable journey ensures you get to your destination with ease.
In my personal experience, I spent three wonderful days in Cappadocia before embarking on a night coach journey to Oludeniz. For those considering a similar route, I highly recommend purchasing your coach ticket on the spot and using cash – it’s a more cost-effective option. This way, you not only enjoy the convenience of spontaneous travel decisions but also save on your journey to the picturesque Oludeniz.

The first reason to visit Oludeniz is for paragliding. For adventurous souls, Oludeniz offers an unparalleled experience – paragliding over the stunning landscapes from the nearby Babadag Mountain. This means you get amazing views right over the sea, the entire region, the mountains, and of course, the stunning Blue Lagoon. You will go to around 1960 meters before taking off.
A small cable conveniently takes you to the summit of Babadag Mountain. Even if paragliding isn’t on your agenda, I highly recommend a visit to the mountain for the unparalleled views nature generously unfolds. It’s a breathtaking experience that showcases the beauty of Oludeniz from a perspective that will undoubtedly leave you in awe. From the top it is possible to see the Butterfly Valley, a famous beach that is another attraction of the region, and, on the clearest days, even Rhodes can be seen, in Greece.

For those staying in Oludeniz, the gorge is a bit closer, located around 35 kilometers away. A short drive of about 45 minutes or a convenient bus ride connects Oludeniz to Saklikent Gorge.
