I go by Aicha, a name lovingly chosen by my father, which holds a beautiful meaning: “the one who lives” in Arabic. Today, I stand grateful and joyous as I share my remarkable journey of travel and exploration with you.
Life’s unpredictable twists led me to grow up in Mauritius under the guidance of my inspiring aunt, who imparted invaluable wisdom. After highschool, I embarked on an extraordinary adventure, leaving the familiar shores for Paris. A solo flight took me to the City of Lights, where I pursued a Bachelor’s in French Literature at La Sorbonne, followed by a Master’s in Marketing and Communication at Ecole Sup de Pub. Europe’s vastness awakened a longing to explore, but my cautious nature initially held me back from venturing beyond my surroundings.
One pivotal moment changed everything. Just before the pandemic’s onset, I summoned the courage to embark on my first solo journey to London, and oh, the thrill it brought! From that day on, I couldn’t quell my wanderlust; it became a permanent itch, urging me to uncover new places and connect with diverse souls.
And so, with a burning desire to help others, I’ve created this blog – a treasure trove of invaluable information I wish I had during my early solo adventures. Here, I’ll share travel tips, stories, and profound insights to empower you to seize the world fearlessly.

From the fiery heart of Iceland’s Fagradalsfjall volcano, where I conquered the molten summit, to the ethereal dance of the Northern Lights in Norway, I have witnessed the raw power and beauty of Mother Nature.
In the waters of Iceland, I found myself humbled by the majestic Minke Whales, their graceful presence a testament to the untamed splendor of the oceans. My adventurous spirit led me to Portugal’s Benagil Cave, where I navigated the azure waters in a kayak, weaving through ancient rock formations that whispered tales of time.
As the sun dipped over Morocco’s golden dunes, I encountered extraordinary souls whose stories ignited my soul with inspiration and wonder. In Germany’s Konigsee lake, surrounded by towering peaks, I felt a profound connection to the earth’s embrace.
Hiking through the rugged Dolomites, each step imprinted memories of a day well spent, and in the Swiss Alps, I found my heart soaring alongside the snow-capped giants. The Navagio Beach Shipwreck in Greece beckoned me with its storied past, a testament to the mystery and allure of hidden treasures.
Though not yet the legendary Mike Horn, I embrace every moment with gratitude, cherishing the bond I share with this vast, wondrous world. Each experience has etched a unique chapter in the epic story of my life, forging an unbreakable connection with the elements and kindling a hunger for the undiscovered.
